On page two we discussed the Masks we wear; how these masks assisted us in coping with sometimes overwhelming family and societal disfunctions.  We talkd about the ingenious, clever ways the child, which was you, attempted to protect her/himself and to feel safe in a sometimes chaotic or even hostile environment.

AN AFFIRMATION
All is well in my world.  I think of the rose and I give myself permission to love myself for who I am.  From living in chaos I have learned much about myself.  I have discovered inner strength and I have survived to be the wonderful person I am today.  When I feel ready I will blossom like the rose and be who I really am.  I  will be my own best friend.   All is well in my world.
